Hearthstone Farm originally was built as a Jersey farm in the early 1940’s by A.G. Samuelson for his daughter Louise Bauer. The farm was also a place for the construction crews to continue to work throughout the winter instead of losing jobs in the tough economy of the 1940’s. The farm has raised three generations of Bauer’s with Louse still being able to reside on the farm today. As the farm grew and times changed, it has been transformed into a nationally acclaimed three day eventing farm for horses as well as home for premier Simmental cattle. It was fifty years to the date from the last production sale for the Jerseys to the first production sale for the Simmentals. As this sale progresses throughout the years, it is the hope for Hearthstone to expand and make another fifty years of cattle history on this farm.
